People across the world reported seeing a mysterious unidentified flying object (UFO) coasting overhead in a spiral pattern late Thursday night. Eyewitnesses in the southwestern United States, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe frantically posted videos and photos of the strange, blurry white or orange light, describing it as moving horizontally before shooting straight up and disappearing.
While some were left baffled by the sightings, others believe the phenomenon had something to do with the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches that day. What’s more, previous studies have found that SpaceX launches often trigger a spike in UFO reports, as the rocket's unusual flight patterns can be mistaken for extraterrestrials.
