Comprised of former members of Astellaway and The Televised, All About A Bubble is definitely a project that is greater than the sum of it's parts. Catchy pop hooks over great rock riffs make for a very pleasant listening experience. It's almost as if you are floating aimlessly in the sky directed only by the changing direction of the breeze, like you are a weightless sphere full of air, like a ...oh, a bubble!
"With their debut, The Pine Tree, The Mushroom & the End of the World, The Nghiems have quietly positioned themselves as one of Oklahoma’s most promising under-the-radar acts. Utilizing an arsenal of talent from their hometown of Norman—local renaissance men Ben King (Cheyenne) and Jarod Evans (Umbrellas) oversaw production—brothers David (vocals, keys and guitar) and James Nghiem (percussion) have recorded an album that’s equal parts dream pop and indie rock, with a melodic sensibility that brings to mind a more drowsy, orchestral, piano-driven Pavement." -bio
"The band – which took its name from the Indian Nation Turnpike that connected so many of the smaller towns where they cut their teeth – gradually evolved from offering acoustic explorations of tunes by Townes Van Zandt and Jerry Jeff Walker to kicking out three or four sets a night of full-throttle roadhouse country – tinged with the punk rock attitude that was in the air during the members’ teen years" -bio

"Tinges of blues, gospel and even more greasy, classic rock grooves meld into the perfect conclusion to this trilogy. Whether reconciling his past in the gritty blues of "Devil Man" or valiantly and cautiously stepping forward in "Burning for Love," Fisher still smolders with cynicism and a tinge of hurt, but there's a new hope shining forth--especially as Fisher cries forth "There's power in this love, power in my soul, power in the God that's saying come on home..."-bio

"behind every quick-start success, there is history and for redeccos sole singer/songwriter Randle Patton, the history is long. Falling at Various Speeds is the culmination of the last ten years of Pattons life. For a decade, Patton memorized his ideas on his acoustic guitar with seemingly indefinite plans to record a project. His plans became solid in the end of the 2003 when he sold some rather large items and invested in a home studio where all of his bare-bones ideas became layered and orchestrated into one cohesive piece. ...." Cecada "The music can be difficult to sum up. Melodic and folky would be a start, but it's also dark and spacey, at times loud and driving, but also soft and airy. Hansen cites collective influences ranging from Magnolia Electric Company and M. Ward to Pinback and Explosions in the Sky. Attribute this quirky combination of disparate elements to the differing sensibilities of each of the band's six members." Josh Kline (Urban Tulsa)
