Wendy Camp, Lisa Kregear (her sister-in-law), & Wendy Camp's 6-year-old daughter, Cynthia, disappeared in May of 1992.
They allegedly traveled to see Wendy's song who was living with the ex husband, Chad Noe, in Shamrock. It's reported that the two were in a bitter dispute.
Investigators were told that Wendy was dropped off wth the others at a Wal-Mart in Chandler after an argument. All according to Noe's mother, Beverly.
The three never made it home.
The bodies were never found and that put investigators at a dead end.
Early in April of this year, a tipster led them to the remains, buried eight feet under the surface on property reportedly belonging to a man named Grover Prewitt.
During the press conference police arrested a man named Grover Prewitt, according to OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown. He is being booked into the Creek County Jail.
Officials said during the press conference more arrests are possible.
"We believe several people are involved in this violent crime," reads a statement from the OSBI.
In exchange for tips on this cold case OSBI is offering a $5,000 reward. Tipsters may call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
