L.A.'s Flashpoint consists of singer/songwriter Ollie Luttgenau, guitarists Dave Corsile and Tony De Matteo, bassist Chad Peterson, and drummer Kyle Stevenson. Their hard-hitting blend of metal, punk, and hardcore caught the attention of Ozzy Osbourne, who invited the group to join his ~Ozzfest tour in 1999. This wide exposure helped Flashpoint get a deal with the Internet-based label and distributor Atomic Pop, who released the group's debut album, On the Verge, in March 2000.
